Peter Baron tribute to Peter Frampton — live event

I first met Peter Frampton when we toured together while playing with Leslie West's Mountain. I was 17 and playing 2nd guitar with Leslie. I was still in High School and needless to say it was quite an adventure going from church dances to baseball stadiums overnight ... Peter and I were pretty good friends back then... I have many treasured, funny and awesome memories owed to him... I was there at Electric Lady studios when they were mixing "Frampton Comes Alive" with Peter and his engineer Frankie Daugusta who also engineered Peter's album 'I'm in You"... He was also Peter's live sound engineer as well. Frankie also worked on my 5 solo albums and is helping me with my tribute to Peter Frampton doing live sound... I started this tribute with Frampton's bass player of 32 yrs and 12 albums John Regan. Harley Fine helped put it together on keys/guitar with Tony Lazzara on drums. Sadly John passed away suddenly last year before our first show. I was introduced to John Regan by engineer/producer Eddie Kramer [Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Kiss, Frampton Comes Alive, etc] who was producing my album "Love Valley" at the time... John's last recordings can be heard at www.baronframptontribute.com. John is surely missed ! John Regan and I had wanted to do this benefit for Peter's Myositis Research Foundation at John Hopkins from the get go. I discussed this with Peter when I saw him at John's funeral. Peter Frampton, besides being a tremendous talent, has been an inspiration to me and many others ! My band features David Gross on bass, Harley Fine on keys/guitar and Tommy Frusteri on drums with special guests TBA ... Performing Frampton Comes Alive. We hope you Feel Like We Do by joining us in helping with the fight against IBM. ALL PROCEEDS will go to the PETER FRAMPTON MYOSITIS RESEARCH FOUNDATION.
