Hailing from all corners of Virginia, The Wilson Springs Hotel bring a unique sound to the stage. Through storytelling lyrics of things that can’t be left unsaid, their sets flow from slow & somber crooner country, to rippin’ honky tonk, to hard hitting folk influenced rock, thru almost psych-rock like guitar tones and back again; all this while maintaining that watermark-like sonic fingerprint great bands possess. It is familiar in the way that most music shows its influences, yet entirely it’s own in the style and emotions the band channel through every performance. Their live show is not one to miss. The Wilson Springs Hotel are currently on tour following the release of their second album “Old Thoughts & Memories”, with plans to release new music throughout 2024. Raised between his Dad in Alabama and his Mom in Georgia, meaningful music permeates all of Cody Bolden’s childhood memories. His Mom would sing folk songs like Man of Constant Sorrow by Dan Tyminski and blues songs like Sitting on the Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding while cooking breakfast each morning. His Dad believed the radio should always be on and dialed to an Outlaw Country Station that played the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alan Jackson, and Hank Williams, Jr. Cody Bolden and The Road Hands are a country band with roots in North Georgia that tour the Southeast. They recently released his sophomore album, Keep On Working. This album leans towards the traditional country sound of the past ("Lonesome Lonely" and "Tips Only") along with several ballads and storytelling songs ("Bad Man" and "Two Pot Plants.")
