Noa Fort Quartet — live event
Noa Fort is a Brooklyn based, Israeli born vocalist, pianist, composer, improviser, bandleader and recording artist, active in the NYC Jazz/improvised music scene. She has sung and played as a collaborator/sidewoman on numerous projects and with greats such as William Parker, Dave Torn, Mat Maneri, Chad Taylor. She performed at prestigious venues such as Roulette Intermedium, Dizzy’s at Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Philadelphia Museum of Arts. In 2018 Fort released her debut album as a bandleader/composer, ‘No World Between Us’. Critically acclaimed, it led to performances at the DC Jazz Festival and BRIC Jazz Festival. ‘Everyday Actions’ (2021), her second album came out with the Argentinian-American avant-garde label ‘Ears & Eyes records’.
