Alex Mazzucchelli is a singer, songwriter and proud native New Yorker. An accomplished vocalist, one of her first notable achievements dates back to her teenage years where she gained recognition for her voice and became a top finalist in AOL’s nationwide singing competition, “American Dreamz”. It was at this juncture in which she was selected as the opening act for American Idol alum, Kimberly Locke and R&B duo, Nina Sky. Alex went on to pursue her education upon being accepted into New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she holds a BFA. Telehope is a mix between 'telescope' and 'hope.' It means looking to the hope in the distance and drawing it near. We write music for those who ask themselves who they are and what their purpose is in this life. We create for those who need an ounce of hope to grab onto. We stand up for those who struggle with self-worth, self-image, and self-doubt. We encourage those who battle depression and anxiety. Our albums are a snapshot into our souls, recorded in audio-form. We hope you feel incredible joy and inspiration from our music, and we hope these songs cause you to ask the question we ask ourselves every day: ‘am I who I want to be?’
