Noah Halpern / Trumpet Eden Ladin / Piano Felix Moseholm / Bass Eliza Salem / Drums Noah Halpern is a rising trumpet player, composer, bandleader, and educator based in New York, NY. Growing up in Seattle, WA, Noah began playing piano at the age of 5, before switching to the trumpet at 10. Noah continued to develop his passion for music at Roosevelt High School where he played in the school’s critically acclaimed jazz band. At the same time, he was exposed to Seattle’s jazz and creative music scenes, performing in music venues around Seattle with professional and youth groups. Before finishing high school, he was selected to be a member of the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra, the Brubeck Jazz Colony, and was a participant at the Essentially Ellington Jazz Festival three times, where he was recognized with the Outstanding Trumpet Soloist Award twice. He received the “Waldo King Most Inspirational Award” from his high school upon graduation in 2014.
