Blending Southern grit with alt-edge, classic country and hard rock, The Filthy Heathens' sound defies easy classification. It's rich, raw, and rooted in something deeper than genre. Theirs is music you can't quite label. Inspired by legends like Skynrd and Waylon, with a nod to modern acts like Blackberry Smoke and The Steel Woods, their songs are road-tested, unapologetic and built to be felt. Rob Leines is a blue collar road warrior who spends more than 200 nights a year onstage, bashing out a mix of Telecaster twang, guitar-driven grit and southern storytelling. Following his 2018 debut, Bad Seed, Leines gave up his metalworking job in order to pull triple duty as the frontman, lead guitarist and booking agent for his power trio - to cross-country gigs, national acclaim and opening slots for legends like Whiskey Myers and Dwight Yoakam.
