Baby Bugs is an alternative music project founded by Bowie. Raised on bluegrass guitar and church hymns, Bowie spent years under the weight of religious trauma and emotional abuse before discovering that writing songs and poems was the only way to clearly express themselves. In 2021, at the age of 18, Bowie released their first song, “HeyBunny.” The track surpassed 2 million streams in its first 60 days and received an outpouring of support from fans encouraging Baby Bugs to continue.
