The 40th Anniversary year of Phil's passing. A tribute to the legacy of music, words and poetry he left behind for all to celebrate and enjoy. Music from: Live Lizzy - When Ireland Rocked - The Bandoleros play Acoustic LIzzy. ‘Together we are stronger’ The 5th Annual Convention is paying a fitting tribute to Phil this year, 40 years after his sad passing at the age of 36. The huge legacy of music, he left for us to enjoy and celebrate, lives on, arguably its more popular now than it ever was. We begin the afternoon with a vigil at the statue and then on to the Rock and Roll Museum to view the impressive display of exhibits associated with Phil and Thin Lizzy. The evening show promises to be a memorable night with top class bands paying their own tribute through their presentation of the music that has stood the test of time over the last 50 years or so.
