French violinist Virgil Boutellis-Taft comes to Zankel Hall for a program of impassioned music from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Virgil is joined by pianist Juyoung Park for Saint-Saëns’ fervent Danse macabre, Bloch’s deeply moving “Nigun,” and other selections from his second album, Incantation, recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London. Also featured are Schumann’s Violin Sonata No. 1 in A Minor, and Janáček’s Violin Sonata.
