Hillai Govreen is a clarinetist, saxophonist and composer based in New York/ Tel Aviv. Her debut album “Allusions” is a duet with pianist Nitsan Kolko. Their duet feature spontaneous musical dialogue and alludes to various ancient fables. Haeun Joo is a jazz pianist from South Korea. She started playing piano when she was 5 years old. She studied classical composition in Busan Art High School in Korea and went to Howon University to study Pop and Jazz. She has collaborated with several pop artists in Korea and has performed as a singer songwriter after winning the Competition Yoo Jae-Ha for Songwriters. Drummer and composer Eden Har‑Gil, born and raised in Kibbutz Yakum, Israel, is a powerful force making waves in the New York jazz scene. Eden's musical foundation began under the esteemed Israeli drum master David Rich for over seven years. He further honed his skills at the Israeli Conservatory of Music, studying with jazz luminaries like Omri Mor, Anat Fort, and Mark Moshayev. In 2018, his journey continued at William Paterson University, where he learned from jazz icons Bill Charlap, Jeremy Pelt, and Horacee Arnold, graduating Magna cum Laude in 2020. An insatiable thirst for knowledge led him to pursue a Master's degree at NYU Steinhardt (2021-2023). Here, he thrived under the mentorship of giants like Lenny White and Dave Liebman. His studies were further enriched by renowned drummers like Billy Drummond and Rogerio Boccato, expanding his musical horizons and performance dynamics, culminating in a Cum Laude graduation in May 2023. Determined to carve his path, Eden established himself as a prominent figure in the NYC jazz scene, even amidst the challenges of the pandemic. He has graced stages like the Blue Note, Nublu, ShapeShifter Lab, Williamsburg Music Center, and Fiction, all while collaborating with notable musicians like Steve LaSpina, Hillai Govreen, Dabin Ryu, and Martin Nevin. His leadership extends back to his native Tel Aviv, where he led captivating performances at Levontin 7, Ozen Bar, and Beit Haamudim, culminating in a farewell tour encompassing major Israeli cities in July 2023. Eden's talent extends beyond rhythmic mastery. His debut single, "Leaf," received widespread acclaim, showcasing his ability to craft innovative compositions with musical depth. This creative spark ignited the highly anticipated release of his debut album, "Hearts of Palm," in March 2024 under the renowned XJazz! record label in Berlin. The album features collaborations with world-class musicians like Dezron Douglas, Caroline Davis, and Lo Wood, promising a groundbreaking entry into the world of contemporary jazz.
