Reverend Horton Heat w/special guest Messer Chups

Reverend Horton Heat and Messer Chups live at Elkton Music Hall, Elkton on Wed, Sep 23, 8:00 PM. Tickets from $36. Lineup, start time and tickets on Ckord.

Loaded guns, space heaters, and big skies — welcome to the world of Reverend Horton Heat. Jim Heath is a true revelator, twisting country, blues, and rock into a high-octane, time-warped sound that feels equal parts honky-tonk, psychobilly, and outer space. Seeing Reverend Horton Heat live is a full-throttle experience. Guitars blaze, the stand-up bass roars, and Heath channels a slicked-back rock ’n’ roll shaman somewhere between Screamin’ Jay Hawkins and Buddy Holly. It’s primal, loud, and unmistakably theirs — like a 1950s drive-in movie beamed in from the future. From the spaghetti-western sweep of “Big Sky” to the manic charge of “400 Bucks” and the raw blast of “Psychobilly Freakout,” their music is pure fuel. For decades, Heath and Jimbo Wallace have carved a relentless path across the globe, living by a simple code: ***ROCK HARD. DRIVE FAST. LIVE TRUE.*** Opening the night are Messer Chups, the cult surf-rock trio known for spooky instrumentals, retro horror visuals, and twang-heavy guitar work that blends vintage B-movie energy with modern edge. Rev your engines — the sermon is coming. \*\*\*This show is primarily Standing Room Only - Limited Seated Tickets available\*\*\* Please contact us at [email protected] for any ADA needs
