Returning with their first single in 2025, Portsmouth-based techno-psych fuzz merchants LIPWORMS share long-awaited new single ‘Teeth’, out today (15th July) via Strong Island Recordings (Ugly, Los Bitchos, Ugly Ozo) Following on from debut single ‘handshake’ - released to launch last year’s tastemaking Slow Dance Compilation, and winning support in turn from So Young, The Line of Best Fit, Rough Trade, Still Listening and Hard of Hearing - LIPWORMS newest effort sees them up and the ante and fiendishly flex their neuron-frying muscles. Looking to channel the sprawling cataclysms of their loud and immersive gigs, the band took an early improvised live recording of ‘Teeth’ into their “sweaty loft” home studio.
