Lost Lake Presents Playlunch with Yagki on Saturday, August 15th. WHO’S READY FOR A GOOD F*CKING TIME? “The Hottest Aussie band since Amyl & The Sniffers.” In 1964, a band of mod-suited mop-tops from Liverpool, England arrived on the shores of New York City and kicked off an explosion of Rock & Roll that historians would come to refer to as “The British Invasion.” And now, in 2026… The Aussie Invasion is coming. This summer the world’s pre-eminent Bogan Funk band Playlunch are setting sail for North America and bringing their unique brand of raucous dance tracks to the masses. https://youtu.be/7PTvxw4fc9M?si=Gk4KnDStsGh0NO8Z So what exactly is Bogan Funk? It’s basically what happens when a bunch of Aussie blokes who grew up playing INXS covers at the local pub set out to try and become the new Kool & The Gang. Think… James Brown meets Crocodile Dundee. Earth, Wind & Fire meets Amyl & The Sniffers. And it seems to be exactly what the world was waiting for… https://youtu.be/YBuV…
