Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating music, community, and the extraordinary talent of The Anderson School. The night will feature performances by Anderson’s standout student instrumentalists and vocalists, special collaborations led by students and backed by the beloved parent-teacher band, The Bandersons, and a high-energy set of rock and pop favorites performed by The Bandersons themselves. While The Anderson School is renowned for its exceptional academics, it has also earned a reputation as one of New York City’s premier elementary and middle school music programs. At the most recent NYSSMA festival, Anderson ensembles received Gold ratings across 5th, 6th, and 7th grades, with 8th grade earning Silver honors. Anderson soloists consistently achieve scores and performance levels far beyond their years. The young musicians featured this evening represent some of the brightest rising talents in the city. And then there’s The Bandersons. Far from your average parent band, this powerhouse collective of Anderson parents and teachers includes acclaimed performers, producers, and composers. But what truly sets them apart is the joy they create together — friends united by a deep love of live music and performance. Bandersons shows are known for their infectious energy, surprise guest moments, irresistible grooves, and feel-good spirit. Whether you’re cheering on a student performer, dancing along to a favorite song, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, this is a night designed to inspire audiences of all ages and send everyone into graduation season on a high note. Come celebrate the music, the kids, and the community that makes Anderson so special. VENUE DETAILS The Cutting Room is New York's legendary dinner theater and event space. All shows have a $25 food and/or beverage minimum per person (unless otherwise indicated on your ticket.) Please note the ticket price goes mostly to the performers and production staff.
