While her recent breakthrough track “Lily” introduced listeners to some of the deepest, most vulnerable corners of her songwriting, her infectious new single “Toxin” reveals another equally authentic dimension of her artistry. The song features elements of her trademark introspection sharing the spotlight with playful lyricism, irresistible grooves, romantic ambiguity and a fresh sense of freedom. As the first lead single from Anna’s forthcoming EP, “Toxin” signals an expansion of the trademark insightfulness that has marked her emergence as a compelling multi-talented young artist.
