Tara Clerkin Trio bring their genre-defying sound to Baba Yaga on January 22nd. The Bristol-based group weaves experimental jazz, ambient textures, and minimalist pop into a singular vision, built on looping melodies, intricate rhythms, and atmospheric depth. Drawing inspiration from Arthur Russell and Talk Talk, they craft music that sits at the intersection of multiple worlds—a live set that rewards close listening and rewards the ear with unexpected turns. This is an intimate two-hour performance for anyone seeking something genuinely inventive.
