... a captivating fusion of Latin folk and contemporary soul-pop’. - Rhythm Passport To celebrate the launch of her new album ‘al andar’, Spanglish songstress Holly Holden will be returning to Folklore with a new 6 piece band, made up of some of finest musicians from London’s Latin music scene. Composed on a Venezuelan cuatro during stints spent living in Mexico and Colombia, Holly’s third record ‘al andar’ is an innovative and eclectic fusion of influences, with a warm, raw acoustic feel, that pays homage to the artists that inspired its creation - Simon Díaz, Lucila Campos, Andrés Landero, Mercedes Sosa, Polo Montañez, Violeta Parra, Omara Portuondo. DelaCruz Selector will keep us dancing into the night with a vinyl vintage salsa DJ set, accompanied by maestro timbalero Randy Lester Echavarría to lead the percussion party!
