Drummer and composer Eden Har‑Gil, born and raised in Kibbutz Yakum, Israel, is a powerful force making waves in the New York jazz scene. Eden's musical foundation began under the esteemed Israeli drum master David Rich for over seven years. He further honed his skills at the Israeli Conservatory of Music, studying with jazz luminaries like Omri Mor, Anat Fort, and Mark Moshayev. In 2018, his journey continued at William Paterson University, where he learned from jazz icons Bill Charlap, Jeremy Pelt, and Horacee Arnold, graduating Magna cum Laude in 2020. An insatiable thirst for knowledge led him to pursue a Master's degree at NYU Steinhardt (2021-2023). Here, he thrived under the mentorship of giants like Lenny White and Dave Liebman. His studies were further enriched by renowned drummers like Billy Drummond and Rogerio Boccato, expanding his musical horizons and performance dynamics, culminating in a Cum Laude graduation in May 2023. Determined to carve his path, Eden established himself as a prominent figure in the NYC jazz scene, even amidst the challenges of the pandemic. He has graced stages like the Blue Note, Nublu, ShapeShifter Lab, Williamsburg Music Center, and Fiction, all while collaborating with notable musicians like Steve LaSpina, Hillai Govreen, Dabin Ryu, and Martin Nevin. His leadership extends back to his native Tel Aviv, where he led captivating performances at Levontin 7, Ozen Bar, and Beit Haamudim, culminating in a farewell tour encompassing major Israeli cities in July 2023. Eden's talent extends beyond rhythmic mastery. His debut single, "Leaf," received widespread acclaim, showcasing his ability to craft innovative compositions with musical depth. This creative spark ignited the highly anticipated release of his debut album, "Hearts of Palm," in March 2024 under the renowned XJazz! record label in Berlin. The album features collaborations with world-class musicians like Dezron Douglas, Caroline Davis, and Lo Wood, promising a groundbreaking entry into the world of contemporary jazz. Kai Gluska is an Israeli-born, Brooklyn-based guitarist, composer, arranger, and educator. He earned his BFA with honors from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. In September 2023, Gluska released his debut album, "Impressions of Yesterday," featuring his sextet performing original compositions that blend traditional and modern jazz elements. The album has garnered significant acclaim, attracting approximately 30,000 monthly listeners. This success is further underscored by Gluska's receipt of prestigious awards, including the Prime Minister's Prize for Jazz Composition and a grant from Mifal HaPais, recognizing his contributions to the jazz genre. Gluska has performed at esteemed venues and festivals worldwide, such as the Bern Jazz Festival, Tel Aviv Jazz Festival, Zappa Herzliya, Ilana Goor Museum, Ornithology Jazz Club in New York, and Beit Haamudim in Tel Aviv.
