Drummer/composer Jeff Davis, known as the “propulsive force” behind a host New York mainstays including Tony Malaby, Tim Berne, Kirk Knuffke, and Anna Webber. A mainstay and in-demand drummer on the creative NYC music scene, Jeff Davis is a passionate improviser at the drum set. A powerful performer and compelling composer, Davis has contributed as a sideman to a great number of important music projects, and has performed with such artists as Chris Speed, Ralph Alessi, Ben Monder, Marc Ducret, and Mark Helias.
