Experience a compelling evening of music led by Richard Robbins and featuring the Richmond Symphony and Richmond Symphony Chorus. This program brings together Caroline Shaw’s To the Hands, a moving and thought-provoking work for choir and strings; Britten’s vibrant Sinfonietta, Op. 1, brimming with youthful energy and color; and his luminous choral miniature “Concord” from Gloriana. The concert concludes with Copland’s “The Promise of Living” from The Tender Land, a heartfelt and uplifting tribute to shared purpose and hope.
