Drawing with a Stick Workshop — live event
Every stick has its own personality. Some are brushy, some are precise, and some are totally unpredictable. Let's dive into our drawing using the oldest of instruments. All materials will be provided. Just bring yourself and bring a friend or make one here. In this class we will practice drawing with a stick using India ink on mixed media paper. Students will learn portraiture fundamentals and a variety of mark-making techniques. Yes -- the ink is permanent, but you need don't worry about messing up. There is a solution to every problem. Yaron Dotan MFA/MSEd is an LA-based artist who places great value on experimentation. He specializes in getting students to relax, take chances, and enjoy themselves.
