THE BONESHAKERS Led by world-renowned guitarist Randy Jacobs (Was (Not Was)), The Boneshakers deliver a high-octane blend of Detroit soul, Muscle Shoals R&B, funk, and blues that hits hard every night. Band members have toured and recorded with legends including Bonnie Raitt, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Aretha Franklin, Keb’ Mo’, Seal, Elton John, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Iggy Pop, and more. Formed in the mid-’90s by Jacobs and the late, great Sweetpea Atkinson, The Boneshakers quickly built a reputation for groove-driven, powerhouse performances and acclaimed recordings on Virgin/Pointblank Records. Over the years, the band has released a string of celebrated albums, earned major blues and independent music awards, and collaborated with artists like Mindi Abair and Joe Bonamassa.
