Nanseera EP Release Show with special guest Milkweed live at Eddie's Attic! Nanseera is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter with an old soul and a distinctive style. The London born performer grew up in Uganda and Ethiopia, moving to the United States for high school and university. Taking inspiration from artists like Tracy Chapman, Lianne LaHavas, and Sheryl Crow, Nanseera weaves together poetic stories of losing home, love, and sense of self, then somehow finding them again. Nanseera released her debut album American Odyssey in 2022. The project loosely follows her road trip with friends and a journey of personal discovery. After going on her first solo tour In 2024, she released her single Colours and is gearing up for an EP release this summer. Milkweed is a duo comprised of the singer songwriters Wyeth Nabeel, and Hadley Thackston.
