Gary Stewart Presents... Gary Stewart is a singer/songwriter from Perth in Scotland who cut his teeth performing on the Leeds music scene, before moving to York where he currently resides. Stewart writes songs in the Folk/Pop style and is influenced primarily by the prominent singer/songwriters of the 1960's and 1970's, with Paul Simon as his biggest inspiration. The Scottish Songsmith has released four Albums to date, with his latest offering, 'Use It Or Lose It', released in October this year. The Album was recorded in a little barn studio in The Yorkshire Dales and features collaborations with Seth Lakeman, David Ford, Alex Hart, Ellie Gowers, The Magpies and Graham Coe (Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys). The left-hander is also no stranger to the Festival circuit, having played Kendal Calling, Green Man, Deershed and Beardy Folk Festivals to name but a few.
