Dawglet single release show to celebrate the release of their brand new single "Eyesore". They will be joined by Brooklyn heavy rock staples Shiverboard and Esther Kohl. Dawglet is the alter ego of Angela Phillips - former lead vocalist & bassist for DIY veterans A Deer A Horse (2011-2025). Dawglet is abrasive, unhinged, deeply concerning and deeply stupid. Musically, it is a mix of Noise Rock, Alternative Metal, Nu Metal and Grunge; like someone put Hole, Alice in Chains, Korn, and The Jesus Lizard in a blender. Dawglet is joined by drummer Chris Enriquez (Julie Christmas, Spotlights, On The Might Of Princes) and guitarist/keyboardist Alex Molini (Pile, Philary, Stove) on the debut tracks “Yes Machine” and “Eyesore”. Both were recorded at Silver Cord Studios - home of grammy award winning artist Gojira - with Gojira engineers Jamie Uertz (studio engineer) and Johann Meyer (mixing and mastering engineer).
