Clay Street Unit with High Country Hustle

Clay Street Unit live at The Lariat, Buena Vista on Thu, Oct 29, 8:30 PM. Tickets from $25.14. Lineup, start time and tickets on Ckord.

Hailing from Denver, Colorado, Clay Street Unit mixes the acoustic instrumentation of bluegrass and folk with the amplified energy of Americana and country. The result is a singular interpretation of American roots music that blurs the borders between genre and geography, fusing the influence of the Rocky Mountains with the traditions of the Appalachians. Driven forward by drums, sharp songwriting, and the chemistry of good friends and musical brothers who've shared countless hours on stage, Clay Street Unit's music doesn't just nod to the band's influences; it reshapes them into something new. With their debut album on the horizon, Clay Street Unit are staking their claim as torchbearers of something both fresh and familiar, nodding to the foundations of American music while sharpening their own progressive edge. \-- High Country Hustle is a bluegrass band from Durango, Colorado, formed in 2017 and known for their high-energy performances and steady rise through the Colorado festival circuit. The group released their third Album New Old Roads in May, 2026. The band earned early recognition after winning the 2020 WinterWonderGrass band competition in Steamboat Springs and has since performed at venues such as Mishawaka Amphitheater, Pine Creek Lodge in Livingston, MT, the Fox Theatre in Boulder, and Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver. Their festival appearances include Keystone Bluegrass & Beer, Tico Time Bluegrass, and Pagosa Folk ’N Bluegrass. Sharing stages with artists like Kitchen Dwellers, Trout Steak Revival, and Tim O’Brien, High Country Hustle has been recognized by Westword as one of Colorado’s standout bluegrass bands.
