Elias Meister - Justin Purtill - D Treut Born in 1983 in Munich (Germany) guitarist Elias Meister is based in New York city since 2007. His numerous interests in different styles and ways of expression have led him to perform in a broad variety of musical settings. As a current member of the Residente band, Justin has headlined festivals throughout the US, Europe, Scandinavia, Mexico, and Central and South America, including the 2017 Latin Grammys and the 2018 Austin City Limits Music Festival and television show. In 2019, the band headlined at the Zocalo in Mexico City for over 150,000 people. The band resumed touring in 2022 by headlining Vive Latino in Mexico City. D. Treut's music is defined by unconventionality – he has explored the jazz improvisational, rock, and pop realms with equal vigor, extracting from each to create something original and undefinable.
