Growing up immersed in the rich tones of jazz & soul, her music is an artful blend of soulful vocals & dreamy harmonies, creating a sound that feels like a journal entry set to melody. Her music invites listeners into a world of introspection & speaks to those who find it challenging to confront their emotions. LYZE began writing and releasing music in South East Asia, working with local producers and musicians from all over the world. She is currently curating a second EP which she hopes to release later this year. Maisie Goulsbra British singer-songwriter blending the raw emotion of soul with intricate layers of jazz & the smooth, captivating tones of R&B. She counts Lalah Hathaway, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Lianne La Havas, and Cleo Sol among her influences. Born and bred in Lincolnshire, Maisie moved to London to study at Goldsmiths and then worked in the music industry for a year before beginning her own journey in music. She has been a student in Tomorrow’s Warriors & Julian Jospeh’s Jazz Academy & her upcoming debut EP is a collaborative space between herself & musicians in her surrounding family & friendship group. Her songwriting & lyricism is an exploration of love, self-discovery, & healing. Recently Maisie co-founded Meanwhile, a live music event for womxn spotlighting jazz/soul/RnB artists.
