Lineup: Sean Nicholas Savage Popscene Presents Tōth (Brooklyn) Tuesday, 10/20 @ Brick & Mortar Music Hall Support by Sean Nicholas Savage (Canada) 7pm doors, 8pm show All ages welcome $24.50 advance tix, $27.00 day of show Brooklyn-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tōth (Alex Toth of Rubblebucket) returns with his third album, And The Voice Said. Known for emotionally potent songwriting shot through with wit and humor, Tōth creates live shows that feel less like performances and more like communal gatherings — heart-on-sleeve, deeply felt, and open to everyone. His stage presence is magnetic, his banter delightfully unhinged, and his trumpet playing soulful and expressive. Co-produced by Grammy-nominated artist Caroline Rose and featuring Kimbra, And The Voice Said captures Tōth in full bloom as both a singer and visionary artist. "Brilliant” - NPR MUSIC "that voice achieves liftoff as Tōth launches into a howled high note worthy of Diary-era Jeremy Enigk" - STEREOGUM “something like a lost Beach Boys session produced by Brian Eno" - AQUARIUM DRUNKARD "dreamy songwriting...a beautiful, sighing return, reminiscent of Cocteau Twins" - CLASH Doors: 7:00 PM
