Shannon "Sangin' Diva" Pearson began her professional career at the age of 15 doing studio work around Los Angeles. At 16; after performing at the famous Birdland West Jazz Club in Long Beach, CA, she fell in love with singing to a live audience. From that day on the "Sangin' Diva" was born.Shannon's had the privilege of sharing the stage and providing background vocals and supporting vocal parts for legendary artists' Natalie Cole, George Duke, Stanley Clark, Al Jarreau, Jeffrey Osborne, Patti Labelle, Chaka Khan, Howard Hewitt, Anthony Hamilton, Heather Headley, Evelyn Champagne King, BeBe Winans, pop artists Demi Lovato, Leona Lewis, Katy Perry and a plethora of others. In 2023 she was also tapped to lend her talents to the historic "Just Me and You Tour"; which marked the first tour in 25 years embarked upon by the original members of Tony! Toni! Tone! Over the years the Sangin' Diva has occasionally taken her SOLO show on the road both domestically and internationally. With such an extensive performance resume she's literally been seen and heard across the globe in countries that include China, England, Indonesia, Japan, The Netherlands, South Africa, Switzerland, the UAE (United Arab Emirates), almost every island in the Caribbean and 46 of the 50 states in the US! After such a lengthy hiatus lending her backing vocals to the legends as they toured the world, now is the moment where Shannon revisits her solo roots and once again claims center stage! And what more fitting place to re-emerge than New York's historic The Bitter End! Join Shannon as she returns to the forefront with a fresh new look and a brand new band but always with her signature "Sangin' Diva" sound!!
