Taddeo likes to take listeners on a journey through sound. An aspiring audiophile since 2012, he’s fascinated by the stories behind used records and to him the process of discovery is just as important as the music itself. While the bulk of his 1,800+ collection is rooted in jazz, there isn’t a genre that defines his curation, instead he relies on intuition and a discriminating ear to guide his musical taste. Drawing inspiration from African, Middle Eastern and Brazilian rhythms, Taddeo is happiest when he is elbow-deep in some forgotten crates.
