Official Claire (Chicago) https://officialclaire.bandcamp.com/ Official Claire is one of her generation’s finest songwriters. The Chicago Reader praised her “incisive, witty lyrics.” She hails from the Chicago area, where her music caught the attention of former Wilco member, LeRoy Bach. Bach says, “Official Claire is my favorite new songwriter. Her songs possess deep wit, and mischief, and all those swaying hooks!” Claire is also a calm shredder of guitar! The Singleman Affair called her a “stunning bliss/drone sorceress.” She's been invited to this year's Solid Sound Festival, as well as Sound & Gravity. On her most recent release, Midnight Dickbiter, Claire played and engineered the majority of instruments.
