About the band: Hailing from Asheville, NC, Jason Curtis is a heartfelt singer/songwriter who finds inspiration in his country, blues, and gospel heritage. Originally from South Louisiana, Jason, alongside his wife Jackie and their children MacKenzie, Mirna, Kaden, and Lillie, have made the Asheville region their home for over two decades. Jason’s music, characterized by its authenticity and emotional depth, draws from his upbringing in the Deep South as a preacher’s son. He aims to write songs that resonate with his own life experiences, aspiring to evoke emotions in his listeners. “Great songs always make you feel something,” he asserts. Jason earned the title “One to Watch” for his original track “Sunday Afternoon” by the Nashville Songwriters Association International.
