RickoLus is the moniker of Rick Colado, a singer-songwriter, recording artist and multi-instrumentalist. As a teen in the 90’s he developed his style recording songs on a cassette 4-track in his bedroom and playing in bands in the indie rock scene of Jacksonville Beach, FL . By his twenties he started producing full length low-fi records in a shed in his backyard. His debut record “Youngster” (2010) is the first chapter in the rickoLus saga, reflecting on the end of his youth. This record brought him notoriety in the underground music scene and sent him out on his first official tour. The follow up record “Coyote & Mule” (2012) was recorded entirely on the same Tascam Portistudio he started writing with in his teens. This album was heavily influenced by getting married and having a kid at a young age. His third release “Troubadour” (2013) is a double album about his relationship with his wife and life as a touring musician. “Coconut”(2015), the fourth self produced album, is an homage to all the music he grew up listening to in the 90’s. His last full length release “Bones” (2020) was the first of his albums to be recorded in a professional studio. This album is a love letter to the dirty beach town he remembers from his youth that’s all but gone. His latest album “These Things Happen”, jumps through time like a Vonnegut novel tying together two decades of Colado’s life, in which he’s discovered there is no rhyme or reason to how life unfolds—it just does. Atticus Roness Hailing from Atlanta, Atticus Roness is a power pop tour dé force. Finding local and regional success with his previous outfit, The Corduroy Blue, Roness proved his songwriting prowess, along with an electric stage presence. As he now begins to define a more focused solo career, Atticus Roness has his sights set on even higher ambitions, with his debut album set for the fall. Atticus has opened for artists such as Arlie, Collective Soul, Flipturn, The Nude Party, Sloan, Durry, Illiterate Light, Ruen Brothers, and more.
