Debra Brunsten: Mindfulness Practices in Therapy — live event

Debra Brunsten, LMFT is not only trained in postmodern therapies, but is a Certified Brainspotter and EMDRIA/EMDR Therapist. She has taught at both Antioch and Phillips Graduate Institute, now known as Campbellsville University, and has been in private practice for almost 30 years. Debra brings her "Bu-Jew" wisdom and practice to seamlessly teach therapists how to use invitational language with their clients regarding not only talk therapy, but the language of their bodies, when facing difficult emotions and traumas. The wisdom of the body is recruited as a tool to help clients increase their capacity for tolerating distress and their capacity for healing. Debra will be presenting mindfulness, grounding and Trauma Resiliency/Somatic Techniques (TRM) that can be easily incorporated into your practice. $30 for licensed therapists, $20 for associates, free for trainees and students ADA accessible, seating provided
