Italian post-punk/death-rock Horror Vacui five piece return to the UK with a headline show at the Hyde Park Book Club, Leeds on Monday 18th August. Supports to be announced soon Entry 18+ Horror Vacui blends early ’80s goth with post-punk in a horror-tinged sound. Their name reflects a signature style built on tight, guitar-driven songs, sing-along hooks and vocal lines many of which have become modern goth anthems as for “In Darkness You Will Feel Alright”. Fans of Corpus Delicti, Sisters of Mercy, Christian Death and Killing Joke will find familiar ground, but their catalog reaches far beyond nostalgia. Their lyrics explore identity, darkness, society and the human psyche with a raw, punk-rooted urgency that also defines their live presence and political ethos.
