Lineup: Ace Williams - trumpet Tyler Bullock - piano Ryoma Takenaga - bass Koleby Royston - drums Ace Williams is a 20 year old trumpet player based in New York City and is currently a student at the famed Juilliard School. Williams is influenced by the vast lineage of the African American and Japanese traditions, and aims to bring the values and feelings of peace to his audience. Born in New York City, he began playing trumpet at the age of eight under the tutelage of his father, Willie Williams. He has studied with acclaimed artists like Mark Gross,Valery Ponomarev, Tatum Greenblatt and the late Joe Shepley among many others. He has shared the stage with greats like T.S. Monk, Mimi Jones, Regina Carter, Sean Jones, and Dee Dee Bridgewater and also appeared at the 2022 AAPI Jazz Fest as a bandleader. Don't miss his Django leader debut!
