Jadasea, born, bred and wearing the depths of South London’s rap underground, has been quietly building his own mythology. A core member of Sub Luna City with King Krule, Jesse James Solomon and Rago Foot, and holding firm ties with MIKE, Laron, Wiki and Tony Seltzer, his name rings out from Peckham stairwells to Brooklyn basements. Introspective, hazy, conscious, always laced with depth, lo-fi with soul. Then there’s Pinty, jazz-skipping, garage-licked and mood-drenched. His flow is all syncopation and sentiment, turning South London’s late-night aura into hometown theme tunes. Put them on one lineup, in their own arrrreeeea? That’s a homecoming. Rejoice.
