**Starter Car** are country-influenced indie twang for fans of Teenage Fanclub, Belle and Sebastian and MJ Lenderman. This year sees the release of their debut album, Afterlight, a hooky reflection on the beauty and struggles of life, out via Tapete Records. Singer, songwriter and guitarist, **Frankie Morrow** was raised on a diet of North American rock legends in Bob Dylan and Neil Young, and the Celtic folk songs and poetry of her home country of Scotland. **Olive Wreath** is a hyperfolk project based in London. Active since 2024, Olive Wreath recontextualises field recordings and sampled beats with intricate guitar lines to create music that sits in the intersection of soft electronica, post-hyperpop and modern alternative folk, lyrically exploring the experience of queer identity and relationships in the new holocene age.
