SPARE ROOM is a Brooklyn-based indie duo made up of Miranda Rozas and Mandy Rodio. Their sound blends Mandy’s midwest rock upbringing with Miranda’s southern roots to give you a unique twist on today’s indie rock/pop songs. After a few jam seshes in Mandy’s spare room, the band was born – and also named. Their debut EP is set to release this year, but while you wait, you can also catch them performing all over New York - and more often than not, at their monthly residency with The Letdown. BRIDEY is the project of singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Bridey Hicks. When Hicks takes the stage alone, her electric guitar and passionate lyrics guide crowds in the proper way to sway. When backed by a band, her magnetic sound and stage presence flourish to new heights. Whether it be the songs that focus on her alluring vocals or the songs that encapsulate a full band, her versatile discography doubles as a soundtrack to potential crying sessions, make-out sessions, and/or moshing sessions. It’s this ability to tap into the human experience and translate it into an unforgettable, glistening indie rock sound that sets BRIDEY apart as an artist.
