XO are the essential new UK girlband. A force-of-nature five-piece hailing from Essex, London, Liverpool, Derbyshire and Hong Kong, Emmy, Reanna, Shali, Summer and Zoe blend classic British pop DNA with a sharp, Gen Z edge. 2025’s acclaimed EP, Fashionably Late, witnessed a bold introduction packed with energetic bangers and euphoric highs including debut single ‘Lovesick’ and Charli xcx co-write ‘Real Friends’, coupled with praise from NME, Rolling Stone UK, and The Guardian who label the group as “an attitude-heavy update of Girl Power.” In 2026, they step into a defining new era with ‘Hotline’, a witty, high-impact record pairing irresistible hooks with hard-hitting, Timbaland-inspired production and a distinctly British attitude and their latest single ‘Clique’ which has the instant sense of a statement XO anthem. This leads into their upcoming mini-album Need To Know, a project inspired by the lessons of your twenties, fusing 00s R&B influences into a more refined pop sound, capturing a band coming into their own — louder, bolder and unmistakably themselves.
