Solofan’s sound is rooted in his upbringing in Egypt, shaped by raving in Germany in the mid-to-late 2010s, and sharpened in Brooklyn’s underground nightlife. A resident at the Paris-based Radio Flouka, he hosts El Commodino, a show experimenting with free-form mixing and atypical flows. In the club, his sets are high-voltage and hard to pin down—cutting across genres with a shifting, magnetic intensity. From Tarab (طَرَب) to Midwestern grit, African polyrhythms, Bass, pop, IDM, and Hardcore—nothing’s off limits.
