Indonesian Roller Disco Night - Memorabilia Berdisco Vol. 03 (skate) In its third edition, Memorabilia Berdisco brings back the memories of Jakarta’s late ’80s–’90s roller-disco scene into Brooklyn’s one and only indoor disco rink, Xanadu. Inspired by iconic Jakarta and Bandung’s roller skate rinks like Lipstick, NASA, and Happy Day, venues that no longer stand but once defined the city’s disco zeitgeist, we’re channeling that atmosphere into a fresh skating and dancing experience in NYC. This edition features extended sets of Indonesian disco and funk by Disconesia, alongside global percussive selections from Arjun Shah, highlighting the golden era of the archipelago’s creative pop landscapes and its intersections with worldwide rhythm cultures. [Memorabilia is an ongoing series that celebrates Indonesian pop culture in New York through music, shared memories, and intergenerational gatherings.
