The Saami Brothers Qawwali — live event on Nov 15, 2026
The Saami Brothers Qawwali at Miami Beach Bandshell, Miami Beach on Sun, Nov 15, 7:00 PM. Tickets from $15. Lineup, start time and tickets on Ckord.
Lineup: The Saami Brothers Among the world's foremost Qawwali practitioners, the Saami Brothers (Karachi, Pakistan) carry an unbroken Sufi musical lineage nearly 800 years old. As hereditary musicians of the Qawwal Bacha Delhi Gharana — founded by 13th-century mystic Amir Khusrau — they preserve one of Islam's oldest devotional traditions. Their performances embody Qawwali's spiritual power: hypnotic rhythms, soaring improvisation, ecstatic call-and-response, and poetry reaching toward wajd — transcendent spiritual ecstasy. Qawwali is an improvisational form, shaped by the space, the audience, and the energy of the moment. What sets the Saami Brothers apart is rare parallel training in Khayal classical vocals and mastery of a 49-note microtonal system known to only a handful of living musicians. That foundation produces performances of uncommon depth and intensity — consistently leaving audiences stunned into silence before breaking into extended ovation. Food & beverage are available for purchase at the show. The Bandshell is an open-air covered venue, all programs are rain or shine. Your ticket, once purchased, is non-refundable. Any questions?
