Tippa’s sharp delivery and unmistakable vocal style quickly made him one of its brightest stars. In 1986, his single “Hello Darling” became a UK Top 30 hit, marking a breakthrough moment for British-born reggae artists on the charts. Tippa’s influence extends far beyond reggae circles.
