A night of funk, folk and jazz fusion original music that moves you Mysa - Swedish verb to enjoy the moment with all your senses the musical passion project by Sandrinne Edström and Richard Lowenburg. Their songs span the genres of funk, pop, and jazz fusion, finding freedom, release, connection, and empowerment for the people who choose to come and mysa with them . Following their debut album “doormat”, they recently recorded a new collection of songs for a forthcoming ep entitled “for the blooming,” a love letter to their Brooklyn musical community Sam Behr is a NYC-based multi-instrumentalist, singer/ songwriter and performing artist. While haunting Manhattan piano bars for a living over the past decade, Behr has culturally alienated herself from her generation with an obstinate commitment to "keeping rock n' roll alive." Steeping in the art of niche 70s songwriters, progressive and psychedelic rock outfits, and choice musical theatre, Sam has honed a nostalgic yet idiosyncratic sound of her own piano-driven anthems she simply refers to as "circus rock." Behr is currently in the process of finishing her highly-anticipated first studio album. Kenyon Duncan is a jazz-influenced composer from the New York area who has teamed up with Kite Shepherd in an exciting new project where they delve into creating music with a soft folk sound and a deep emotional world.
