The CAN I KICK IT? monthly movie series at Songbyrd Music House continues on Tuesday, May 13th with a screening of the 1991 action comedy film The Last Boy Scout (starring Damon Wayans, Bruce Willis & Halle Berry). DJ 2-Tone Jones will be providing a mix of hip hop and more to score the film live, scene-by-scene. Doors open at 7p and the film will kick off at 7:30p. Food and drink specials will be available, plus the Shaolin Jazz merch table will be on hand with apparel items and more. About The Last Boy Scout: Once a first-rate Secret Service agent, Joe Hallenbeck is now a gruff private investigator whose latest gig is protecting a pole dancer. When she's murdered, he grudgingly teams up with her boyfriend, Jimmy Dix, an ex-quarterback with a gambling problem, and the two go after her killers. Before long, they stumble onto a plot by a well-known football magnate to bribe federal legislators into legalizing sports gambling.
