**Lost Grrrl Found** **DJ Allison Wolfe (Bratmobile)** After 2 years of sold-out performances in New York, the only play with a mosh pit announces its West Coast debut. Set in the Pacific Northwest in the early ’90s, Lost Grrrl Found follows the fallout (and eventual rekindling) of the friendship breakup between college freshmen Izzy and Morgan. Reeling from the fallout, Izzy is swept into the drama of her local riot grrrl scene. She finds herself pulled to the scene’s center of gravity: the lesbian punk trio Zipper Lips, who Izzy can’t tell if she wants to date or be. When Izzy and Morgan both end up touring with these grrrrls, long-hidden emotions are unearthed. Lost Grrrl Found is a queer, riot-grrrl-inspired coming-of-age story that combines the structure of a musical with the energy of a DIY punk show to explore queerness, art as activism, and the strange, generative power of a crush.
