SPECIAL WEDNESDAY Piano Night w BC Coogan — live event on Oct 7, 2026
SPECIAL WEDNESDAY Piano Night w BC Coogan at Saturn Bar, New Orleans on Wed, Oct 7, 8:30 PM. Free entry. Lineup, start time and tickets on Ckord.
Our resident pianist BC Coogan plays and sings a wide range of songs that never stray too far from the long piano tradition of New Orleans, with a particular reverence for the golden era of South Louisiana R&B. We even affectionately refer to Mondays as "Allen Toussaint Boulevard Appreciation Night" after the city's greatest songwriter. You're likely to hear an Irma Thomas or James Booker song, a jazz workout, or a re-imagined pop tune, all through the lens of a unique musician who has played piano/organ/keys with many of the leading lights of the local scene. Two hour-long sets beginning around 8:30. (Come early and enjoy free red beans and rice!)
Starts: Wed, Oct 7, 8:30 PM
Ends: Thu, Oct 8, 12:30 AM
Where: 3067 Saint Claude Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana 70117, United States
Price: $0.0
Venue: Saturn Bar
