Internationally recognized as one of the top jazz flutists and listed in DownBeat Critics Polls annually since ’99, she’s toured in 35 countries and worked/recorded with many renowned and diverse jazz artists, including: Randy Brecker, Paul Motian, Mick Goodrick, Roy Hargrove, Tom Harrell, John Abercrombie, Dave Douglas, Fred Hersch, Kenny Werner, Louis Cole, Anthony Braxton and Wadada Leo Smith.Known for her intricate, arresting compositions performed by her dynamic Septet+, Baum's recently returned to her roots - playing with a quartet. Having debuted to an enthusiastic audience at NYC’s well-known and intimate Mezzrow Jazz Club this past June, the new Quartet is excited to bring a mix of originals and uniquely-arranged standards to Bar LunÀtico.
